OVERVIEW
Culture Class & Camp is comprised of a series of team & esteem-building classes attended after school or as a weeklong summer day camp. Participants will learn the fundamentals of everyday and special occasion etiquette. So be prepared for them to teach the adults at home a thing or two! Merry Manners classes are geared toward ages 8-12, while l’Etiquette classes are geared toward teens. Dates for June-August, 2015 to be announced at the end of 2014.
Volunteens (ages 13-17) who participate in our Shared Treasure Hunt project or who assist at our events by acting as hostesses (seating people, making sure they have everything they need, giving extra attention to special needs guests, etc.) will earn specialty Plunder ducats, and be considered for for the rank of Sea Star which recognizes mermaidens who go the extra fathom in helping their siren sisters, and serve as a shining star example for others.
